This policy explains how Inpelor Pty Ltd (“Inpelor”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information you provide through the Inpelor website at inpelor.com. We are an independent water remediation consultancy, and we take a deliberately minimal approach: we collect only what we need to respond to you, and we keep it no longer than necessary.
We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us:
Contact form. When you submit an enquiry, we collect your name, email address and message. Your company name is optional. Your IP address is recorded with the submission for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
Technical dossier requests. When you request a dossier, we collect your name, email address and, optionally, your company. We record which dossier you requested, the date, and whether and when you downloaded it. For abuse prevention we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address — not the address itself — which is automatically deleted after 30 days.
We do not collect special categories of data, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to send you the technical dossier link you requested, to follow up about your request, and to protect the website from spam and abuse. We do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
Where you submit the contact form or request a dossier, we process your information on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you and running our consultancy. For dossier requests, your consent is recorded at the point of submission. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7).
We keep contact enquiries and dossier request records for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you and to meet any legal or business record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted. The hashed IP address associated with a dossier request is deleted automatically after 30 days. You may ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your information is accessible only to Inpelor Pty Ltd. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of trusted service providers purely to operate the website and communicate with you: an email provider (Zoho) to send and receive correspondence, and our web hosting provider to run the site. These providers process data on our behalf and only as needed to deliver their service. We may disclose information where required by law.
This website does not use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not build a profile of your browsing. All fonts, scripts, styles and images are served from our own domain, so simply viewing a page sends no data to any third party. Links to external sites (such as WhatsApp, or DOI and publisher links in our materials) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to ask us to delete it, and to withdraw consent to our use of it. Depending on where you live — including under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation — you may have additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below and we will respond promptly.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection, database credentials and other secrets are stored outside the public website, and IP addresses used for abuse prevention are stored only as salted, one-way hashes with a short retention period. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
Because we correspond by email and operate globally, your information may be processed on servers located outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on our service providers' safeguards for such transfers.
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page, bearing the date above, is the current version.
